Our client is a large, well known insurance company with a global presence.

Due to an internal promotion, the client is seeking a senior level financial professional with project management capabilities to drive key initiatives within the accounting function. Furthermore, you will provide independent judgement to enhance finance leadership effectiveness to drive strategy and performance.

Key accountabilities:

  • CFO business partnering including preparing the CFO for meetings, projects, strategic initiatives and internal/external communications
  • Enablement of finance strategy including working closely on acquisitions, integrations and finance improvement activities.
  • Engage with CFO direct reports and communicate critical deliverables on behalf of CFO
  • Coordinate and monitor Finance Target Operating Model cycle (development, review & adjustment)
  • Direct and manage large, complex projects (primarily Finance & Accounting) following the Project Management methodology, from initiation through to successful delivery
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Demonstrate high level of professionalism and ability to handle sensitive matters while exercising sound judgement, discretion, and confidentiality
  • In addition to the above key responsibilities, you may be required to undertake other duties from time to time as the Company may reasonably required.

Desired skill set and qualifications:

  • Prior experience working within a finance positions either as a controller/accounting professional or working within change management
  • 8+ years of experience in financial services or insurance industry
  • Experience of facilitating workshops and meetings
  • Experience partnering with senior C-Level Executives and cross functional stakeholders.
  • Experience with data migration projects

The compensation on offer for this role ranges from 150-200k base salary with bonus potential. Please note that compensation depends on candidate experience and market.
