The Technical Product Manager will be involved in day to day operations, planning and delivery of order management systems and resource.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Delivery Lead / Technical Product Manager who has come from a software development background to join an extremely successful eCommerce organisation in Manchester. The Technical Product Manager will be involved in day to day operations, planning and delivery of order management systems and resource.

The Technical Delivery Lead / Technical product manager will sit in the multi-channel transnational systems team and will be responsible for overseeing technical projects and ensuring strategy across the portfolio of order management. You will help to create technical specifications and define customisations on top of the order management system layer. You will be the main point of contact for senior stakeholders and you will work closely with Scrum Masters on your team, as well as owning the release process. You'll be a natural leader who is able to influence and define workloads. You will be strategy focused to ensure the 'vision' goal is always being worked towards.

The key skills/experiences we are interested in:

  • Previous experience as a software development manager or a technical lead or technical product/delivery manager
  • Experience of software/application development processes and cycles (SDLC)
  • Experience of leading cross-functional teams
  • Experience of interacting with APIs and understanding how systems communicate
  • Proven experience as a decision maker
  • Detail orientated and analytic mindset
  • Passion for web and mobile technologies
  • Agile/Scrum methodology expertise
  • eCommerce journey appreciation/experience
  • Cloud computing understanding
  • Collaborative mind-set, with evidence of broad stakeholder engagement and excellent communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management ability
