Software Architect - Transport Services - Remote work opportunity

My client is currently looking for a strong technical leader, with the experience and vision to contribute to major development initiatives across several teams

I am looking for motivated and enthusiastic Software Architects to join and enhance the capability within the teams they currently have, as they have ambitious plans to grow over the next year.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead technical teams through multi-phased delivery projects and provide hands-on guidance to influence standards for development, governance, and operational life cycle
• Ownership of the existing technology set on our Web Client Layer and the future direction
• Work closely with product teams to ensure delivery of these solutions to enhance our business capabilities
• Contribute to IT strategy, API governance, standards, and technological evaluations to drive our strategic goals

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6+ years of hands on experience with back end technology
• 3+ Years of Professional experience in Java
• Experience with Java technologies, REST services and Spring frameworks
• Experience with the following: Jenkins, Gradle, BitBucket
• In-depth knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture and design knowledge which would include API design principles and SOA.
