Oliver James are currently mandated on behalf of a well-known life insurer who are looking to appoint a Swiss Qualified Actuary to play a key role within their life reinsurance team in Zurich, Switzerland.

Role responsibilities:

• Developing actuarial and pricing calculations specific to reinsurance
• Profitability reviews
• Supporting the reporting process and reporting calculations

Role requirements:

• Qualified actuary - ideally SAV
• Experience in either the life or reinsurance sectors
• Excellent modelling and/or pricing experience
• University degree in a mathematical subject
• Understanding of SST requirements
• Fluent in German and English
