Senior Agile Business Analyst
Oliver James is recruiting on behalf of growing European-focused financial services client-centered in Dublin on a contract basis for a Senior Business Analysts/ Change Agent with experience working in a fast-paced changeable environment the client is seeking an experienced Agile analyst to support the business along its Agile journey.
- A determined and focused individual with strong time management and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines while displaying strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Coach the team during sprints by facilitating collaboration, generating examples, transferring knowledge, and clearing bottlenecks
- Focuses on ensuring the requirements meet the current business needs, even if it requires updating them.
- Excellent attention to detail and document creation skills Producing the appropriate level of documentation depending on the need of the project
- Providing support during development and test execution
- Asking strong questions to help the team see areas that may lead to problems
Key skills and experiences required
- A minimum of 5 year's experiences as working as an IT Business Analyst
- Have worked through the full development life cycle of one or more applications from concept to deliver
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities
- Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment, in a high-pressure environment with changing priorities
- Understanding and experience of Scrum and Agile practices (Scrum Cert Advantages)
- excellent organisational skills and ability to motivate others
- Business Analysis Qualification would be an advantage
- A results-oriented individual who thrives working in a fast-paced environment.
- Recent experience in working within the insurance sector (Life & Pensions, GI, Reinsurance, ect)
