Leading Life and Pensions business is looking to hire a Life Actuary with IFRS 17 project experience, ideally with experience of implementation or transitions.
The business is offering a 6 month initial contract, with opportunity to extend up to 2 years.

Our Ireland-based client is looking for a Life Actuarial contractor to support their IFRS 17 project on a day rate contract.
The contractor can be based anywhere.
You will join a high calibre and supportive team. Fellow contractors will be based in different countries so fluent English language skills and clear communication is imperative.
Location: Remote working.
Duration: 6 months + extension up to Dec 2022
Start Date: within the next 3 months
Rate: 600- 800EUR/day - depending on experience - negotiable.
Responsibilities: The contractor will support with some of the following:
- Methodology Papers, Transition Methodology, Operational Papers
- Transition work
- Tool Building
- CSM Prototyping
- Financial Impact Assessment
Desirable Experience:
- Experience or Qualified Life Actuary
- Good knowledge of IFRS 17 and previous experience working on an IFRS 17 project
- Strong communication skills with Actuarial and Non-Actuarial Audiences
For UK based contractors, this requirement is OUTSIDE IR35.
