I am currently working with a leading Insurance company to source a Reinsurance Technician/Credit Controller for an initial 6 month contract. This role has been created through demand from major change programmes taking place across the business.
Role requirements;
- Support the Reinsurance Operations Manager to; implement the Outwards Re Insurance Credit Control strategy.
- Ensure Aged Debt balances recorded in systems are validated.
- Oversee the preparation and issue of Aged Debt statements to Brokers.
- Lead negotiations with Brokers and Re insurers in order to agree timely settlement of Aged Debt balances.
Profile requirements;
- 5+ years Outwards Reinsurance experience as an Outwards Reinsurance Technician
- 5+ years experience as an Outwards Reinsurance Credit Controller (in either Broker or Insurer)
- Strong experience in recovery of Outwards Reinsurance Aged Debt
- Advanced Excel skills
- Lloyd's London Market experience is desirable
