My client is seeking to appoint an interim Head of Reporting as soon as possible.
Here is an overview of the main responsiblities:
- Ensure that regular actuarial reporting reports and analyses are prepared on a timely basis. are accurate and are clearly reported.
- Ensure that suitable controls are maintained and applied in order to ensure production of results to a suitable high standard.
- Monitor changes to the operating environment and new business / reinsurance pipeline so as to prepare interim estimates of solvency, IFRS and MCEV as required.
- Initiate and implement improvements to actuarial reporting processes. Recommend changes to the actuarial models and systems.
- Provide support for the Financial Controller in other ad hoc actuarial projects as they arise.
- Manage the work and development of the actuarial reporting team
