A leading insurer are looking for a talented actuary to join their IFRS 17 team here in Hong Kong.

In this role you will:

• Lead the development of Group-wide IFRS 17 accounting requirements, practical application guidance and methodology specifications
• Drive the completion of required governance such as Steering Committee, Design Authority, Sub Design Authority etc.
• Conduct the parallel run activities such as constructing opening balance sheet, income statement, disclosure

They require:

• A qualified actuary
• Strong experience of the current actuarial reporting techniques (EV, IFRS, EC etc)
• 10 years relevant experience
• Knowledge and practical experience of IFRS 17 would be highly beneficial
• Ability to communicate fluently both written and verbally in English
