Business Analyst - Reinsurance Desktop

As Business Analyst you will work closely with the Product owner who is responsible for the reinsurance Desktop. Applicants should be able to perform business analysis, define requirements and backlog management activities and will work closely with the Underwriting, Account Management and Underwriting support departments of the company.
Responsibilities
- Track project metrics
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders within the business to understand the business needs and respond accordingly + design processes and data sources
- Core member of the SCRUM team, giving input to the delivery teams on product backlog items
- Communicate with executive leadership and provide risk analysis, status and changes that impact the strategy direction
Experience required
- 5+ years of Insurance industry experience (experience in insurance / reinsurance process domain is preferred with a good understanding of the terminology, core business functions and processes.
- Over 5 years experience of supporting projects that have a duration of 1+ years
- Over 3 years of Agile project delivery experience
- Very good understanding of software development, transition processes and testing
- Outstanding English (written and spoken) is essential
Tools needed
- Experience of using Azure DevOps/Team foundation Server
- Understanding of MS Dynamics as the backbone of Meridian
- SQL scripting skills
- Excel skills

- CSPO or CSM
- IIBA or similar
- PMI or similar
- ITIL Practitioner or Intermediate Life-cycle
