Leading Life insurer requires an actuarial contractor to support their pricing team.

Ideal opportunity for a student actuary to gain additional experience in a Pricing function. Potential for extensions or permanent opportunities

Work is fully remote (must be UK based) for 3 months.

Oliver James are supporting a leading Life insurance client who require an actuarial contractor to support the Pricing team for an initial 3 month term (remote working).

This is an urgent requirement requiring a start date by beginning of June.

The ideal candidate will have some actuarial experience within Life Pricing - this can be as part of wider experience or sole actuarial experience.

There is potential for extension or a permanent position beyond the 3 months with this credible client. Excellent experience to have on the CV.

Start: By end of May or start of June

Location: remote working

Duration: 3 months

Pay Rate: £300-350/day

IR35: Inside (through Umbrella company)

Required Experience

• Part Qualified Actuary, Actuarial Student - some exam passes or working towards qualification
• 2+ years working experience in a Life insurance business
• Ideally 2+ years' experience in a pricing role (any life products) - could be part of a rotation
• Self-starter, good communication skills
