Our client, a leading company in the Insurance industry, is seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Accountant to join their Finance department.This is a remote first opportunity and you will be working with a team spread across the US.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting to meet statutory requirements
- Perform variance analysis and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits
Key Skills
- Proficient in GAAP and financial reporting principles. STAT would be a bonus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Any experience in financial services or insurance would be a strong advantage
