Oliver James Associates has been operating in the Swiss market since 2010. We’ve been investing heavily in the market since the inception of our first local office in Zurich – and now is the time to expand our presence. In 2020, Oliver James aims to have a full team of consultants operating within our core markets, with Aaron Hadley at the helm. Aaron has ten years’ experience specialising in change within the financial services and we are delighted to have him on board. Here we catch up with European Director Ben Moses to find out more about what’s in store…


Why Switzerland?

The Swiss market is a match made in heaven for a business like ours. It is made up of an incredibly strong local market that is interwoven with a blend of businesses from around the world - which is an environment that traditionally OJ has thrived in. It’s an excellent place to trade globally for businesses and the quality of life here makes it a very attractive place to work. When you add all of those factors together, it’s a really strong market for OJ to support. We’ve already got a team on the ground so thought now was the right time to really push our presence.


What will Aaron bring to Oliver James?

Having Aaron as part of the team will mean that we can reach our goal of becoming the choice recruitment firm in Switzerland. We will achieve this by being elite in every service area that we provide. Aaron will ensure that we continue to deliver a premium service to our clients, candidates and consultants.


What are you aiming for?

To be front of mind: candidates wanting to be represented by us, clients requesting the services we provide and attracting people who want to work for a market-leading firm. We’re already known for our high quality and excellent delivery around the world, and now we are serious in bringing that to the Swiss market.
